Henry Repeating Arms Serial Number Lookup
I just made a traffic stop on a known drug dealer and found a Henry Repeating Arms 22 cal lever action behind the seat. No big deal I know but the guy is a convicted felon and it appears the serial numbers have been ground off and painted over. My question is ' Is the serial number located behind the behind the trigger guard on the bottom. Bovine radiology pdf book. It's late and there is no one to call at this time and I need to know if there is going to be an additional charge or if I'm looking in the wrong location. I attached a photo of where the grinding and painting were if that helps. Thanks for the help.
